Given the intimate nature of our platform, we treat all data with the utmost confidentiality. We have designed our systems from the ground up with privacy as the foundational principle, not an afterthought.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.

Conversation Data: Messages exchanged with AI companions are stored to enable memory and continuity of your relationship. This data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.

Usage Data: We collect anonymised usage analytics to improve the platform. This includes session duration, feature usage, and error reports — never conversation content.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.

We use your information exclusively to provide and improve the Aura service. Specifically:

— To power your AI companion's memory and personalisation engine
— To authenticate your account and maintain session security
— To send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts)
— To improve the platform based on anonymised usage patterns
— To comply with legal obligations

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

All conversation data is encrypted end-to-end using AES-256 encryption. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. We employ zero-knowledge architecture for the most sensitive data, meaning even our engineers cannot read your conversations.

We conduct regular third-party security audits and penetration tests. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified cloud providers.

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, your conversation history, profile data, and preferences are permanently erased within 30 days from all our systems, including backups.

Aura is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We employ age verification measures at registration. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and all associated data deleted.

We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that identify you personally.
